Mari Asanti aka Victoria Maria Santibañez (*1999) lives and works in Vienna. Roots in South American

 

lives and works in Vienna. In her work, she explores themes of memory, transformation, and the interplay between nature and emotion. Her art, shaped by personal experiences, oscillates between abstraction and figurative representation, reflecting the fragility and strength of human existence. Through a fluid process, she examines the boundaries of intimacy and identity, using various media to make the invisibility of emotions and inner experiences visible. Her works often explore the relationship between body and environment and the quest for self-determination in an ever-changing world.
